Warehouse Associate

Description

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. They may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, shipping and processing product deliveries
• Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Loading and offloading deliveries from tractor trailers and trucks
• Organizing warehouse inventory
• Accounting for and maintaining moving equipment
• Ensuring warehouse is organized and free of debris and clutter
• Ensuring vehicles and ready for use when required, fueling, loading/offloading
• Collaborating with other operations staff to achieve daily, weekly and monthly goals

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid G class drivers license with clear abstract
• Must possess basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office products
• Forklift certification an asset, will certify if necessary
• WHMIS certification an asset, will certify if necessary
• Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs. (35kg)
• Previous experience would be an asset but not required
